Founded in Jacksonville, NC as a collaborative effort between Shawn Curtis, Paul Myers and Vic Sartelle. The Angry Ginger Irish Pub officially cut the ribbon on June 4, 2015.
The Angry Ginger offers plenty of opportunities for lunch, dinner, or a late-night snack paired with a cold beer or cocktail. We pride ourselves on our outstanding staff, whom we prefer to call family. Our bar and wait staff are always personable. Our Executive Chef and Sous Chefs bring a wealth of knowledge to your plate. We aim to provide a laid-back, alternative, restaurant and venue for locals and visitors alike. The Angry Ginger prides itself on its dedication to excellent service, high quality products, and creating a sense of community. We are honored to be one of Jacksonville's premier dining and nightlife locations.
The Angry Ginger staff and owners work tirelessly all year to give back to the community through a variety of fundraisers and events.
Some of our fundraisers and initiatives include:
- Feed the Families: A Thanksgiving drive where full dinners are delivered to over 250 local Onslow County families in need.
- Toys for Tots Donation Site & Celebration: Each year The Angry Ginger is a toy drop off site for ENC Toys for Tots. We also host a donation celebration event each year with live music and more.
